Holding Out for a Hero

One of the signs carried by the folks with the San Francisco SPCA read, "Holding Out for a Hero external link." A reference to the Bonnie Tyler song of the same name performed on the sound track of the film Footloose. But here it meant holding out for that heroic dog.
