The owl is looking at two WORK floats which are used around the neighborhood to help other people tie-up and repair their houseboats/floating homes. This ORIGINAL Main Dock houseboat is a converted WW II (1943) WOOD Landing craft (LCVP). These are the Higgin's boats that ran up on the shore at Normandy. Too bad that Bryan only saw "junk" on floats. This houseboat is HISTORY!
