A neon sign indicated the presence of a news stand. It was actually more of a snack bar.

The building itself was listed on the Register of Historic Places.

A sign on the lawn in front of the building listed:

It also listed the logos of other transportation districts that served this location. The three most obvious were, Caltrain, VTA, and Amtrak.

The front doors were left open this day, because the day was pleasantly warm.

A large analog clock was built into the wall high above the waiting room benches.

Diridon Station could easily be accessed by any of several bus lines. Unseen, to the right and just beyond the railroad tracks, could also be found a light rail station.

A couple folks were in line at the combined Amtrak, Greyhound, and Caltrain counter.

A train waited beyond the windows. Just this side of the windows were two Caltrain ticket machines, and one Clipper card reader.

A ramp led down to a tunnel under the tracks. This was the only way to access the trains. At the far other end of this tunnel was a light rail station.
