![]() After viewing the Sawyer glacier in Tracy Arms fjord, our boat headed to Juneau. Partway there we spotted a brown bear on the rocky bank. He watched us watching him and then leisurely made his way across the rocks, then faded into the trees.

![]() We visited the Mendenhall Glacier just ouside of Juneau, Alaska and saw a yellow warbler in the bushes near the visitor's center. A welcome spot of cheerful color on a cold and misty day.
