The annual Art Car Parade was part of the How Berkeley Parade and Festival in Berkeley California. Here, an art car decorated in a zebra striped motif featured a man leaning out of the passenger window and entertaining the crowd with a zebra puppet.

He carried a zebra striped pillow with mock casualness while he awaited the start of the pillow fight. The aftermath showed no remains of a zebra striped pillow, so it must have survived.

A small wooden ketch sailed across the wake of the Red and White Ferry. A Blue and Gold Ferry was giving a tour behind the sailboat. In the background were the hills of Tiburon.

The panoramas in the new museum were not behind glass like in the earlier versions. Here they were surrounded by a low glass fence. A tree in the foreground and stuffed zebra in the background.

One of the animals on the carousel was a zebra. It had been striped just like a real zebra, but had a decorative saddle usually not seen on real zebra.

The meeting area just outside the restaurant had a fake zebra dressed in a suit and wearing a bow tie.
