An otter stood up to look around. Despite the angle that made it appear to look at human viewers, it actually was looking at other otters.

Also called the Speckle-throated Otter, this otter was roughly 3 feet (1 meter) from nose to the tip of its tail. The Spotted-necked Otter is in decline, mostly due to habitat destruction and pollution.
