Fallen Leafs
The Mendosa Stairs led down from Mendosa Street to 9th Avenue. Those stairs were found in the Forest Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. Part way down the steps leafs had fallen and gathered against the edges of the steps. This is a shot of those leafs showing their lavender hue.

The Sun Shown Through
While laying down inside a purple tent, the sun peeked out from behind the surrounding trees. It made a nice contrast to the purple of the tent.

Phone Pole
Dawn arrived late that November morning and the scene behind the motel was shrouded in heavy fog. The sun was still low on the horizon, giving a purple hue to the telephone pole and trees that remained barely visible.

Purple Tent Door
The doorway into a pop-up tent was made of purple fabric. Bright colors like this tend to liven up the camping experience.

Eggplant
A farmer's market occurs weekends behind the ferry building. It is a great location to photograph food. Lots of natural light that can vary between fog covered and pure sunlight.
