Purple, The Color, As A Form Of Found Art

The Mendosa Stairs led down from Mendosa Street to 9th Avenue. Those stairs were found in the
Forest Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. Part way down the steps leafs had fallen and gathered
against the edges of the steps. This is a shot of those leafs showing their lavender hue.

While laying down inside a purple tent, the sun peeked out from behind the surrounding trees.
It made a nice contrast to the purple of the tent.

Dawn arrived late that November morning and the scene behind the motel was shrouded in heavy fog.
The sun was still low on the horizon, giving a purple hue to the telephone pole and trees that remained
barely visible.

The doorway into a pop-up tent was made of purple fabric. Bright colors like this tend to
liven up the camping experience.

A farmer's market occurs weekends behind the ferry building. It is a great location
to photograph food. Lots of natural light that can vary between fog covered and pure sunlight.
