Floating Red Tiger With Birds Mural 2018, Artist: Andrew Schoultz, Elliott Building, 1530 J Street, Sacramento, California
A tree with all its limbs cut off, and a tornado were other features of this mural.
A large mural, featuring a red tiger, rose up above trees against a stormy, cloudy sky filled with many blue birds fleeing a storm.
The back end of the tiger stood among parked cars. Its tail formed a circle through which two blue birds flew.
The tiger had an angry face as it rose high and looked back at the approaching tornado.
Many blue birds dove toward the ground past the tiger in an attempt to escaped the approaching storm.
One bird headed down behind the tiger's rear legs. It appeared to dive behind a parked car.
A truncated tree, its many thick branches cut off, still retained sufficient small branches to fill the sky with blown-free leaves like confetti.
One of the blue birds appeared to be escaping from the truncated tree, through blown leaves, and off the mural to
an actual tree growing in the parking lot.
Holes in the clouds revealed a yellow sky beyond the storm. A single blue bird fled in fear.
A drawn tornado ripped holes in the sky and tore up the asphalt of the parking lot.
Blue birds flew past the tornado, frantically seeking shelter from the high winds.
A face in the clouds seemed to moan in displeasure at the tornado.
The mural viewed from the parking lot end, looking back from the tornado toward the tiger at the far end.
