Old Soul Company Mural 2018, Artist: Anthony Padilla (Kenetic Ideas), An American Artist, 1716 L Street, Sacramento, California
A sign was painted over the mural at 1716 L Street, Sacramento, California. It read, "OLD SOUL CO." and "Roasters • Bakers • Artisans" and "☜ In The Alley".
The mural occupied the entire long side of a brick building. It faced a parking lot filled with cars. It had just rained, so the asphalt surface was wet.
Lit lanterns decorated the wall. This section of wall was either painted to look like the inside, or to represented the night.
A large dragonfly was printed in red tones at the border between night and day. It appeared to be flying toward a distant lit lantern.
A strip of the night color ran behind the head of an unlit lantern.
A large green dragonfly hovered low and faced a parked car. It almost appeared as if the dragonfly was threatening the car parked next to the Range Rover.
A large blue dragonfly hovered high over the green of a forest. At his height, the dragonfly contrasted with the brown hills beyond.
A waterfall dumped water into a blue river. The river ran across the parking lot wall just above rain soaked asphalt.
A giant woman reclined back against the waterfall. Perhaps soaking her worries away.
This mural was painted as part of the Sacramento Wide Open Walls Festival. It was drawn by Kenetic Ideas (Anthony Padilla). The Bear and star were from the California Flag.
The mural was painted on a wall that faced a, "Priority Public Parking" lot. In addition to parked cars, a bicycle was also parked in the parking lot.
