The Pied Piper 2017, by Blek Le Rat, A French Graffiti Artist, 20x21 Project, In Eugene, Oregon
The mural as seen from the top of the Overpark Parking Garage in downtown Eugene, Oregon.
In this version of the Pied Piper tale, the Pied Piper played a violin to attract rats, and the rats attracted cats.
The violin player performed with his violin case open. By seeding that case with a small amount of money, the player hoped to attract more money.
Because the Pied Piper attracted rats, he also attracted cats.
That same Pied Piper mural but this time viewed from the street and looking up.
When viewed from the street, the path of rats and cats appears to be more of a mound.
The mural was partly obscured by a tree. In the summer, the tree would completely cover the mural.
