Les Funambules, 1991 Charles Ginnever

Top Left Close Up
Here was a close up of the top left shape. Up close it was not a trapezoid after all, but instead an irregular hexagon.

Small Bolts With Clips
The statue was held to its base with small bolts and small clips. A through-bolt could not be used because of the risk of galvanic corrosion.

Trapezoids
The statue rested on a concrete stand on the lawn in front of the Ducca Restaurant. Made of bronze, it has taken on an attractive greenish patina. Like many of Charles Ginnever sculptures, this one is composed of trapezoids.

The Sign On The Sidewalk
The sign was glued to the sidewalk just the other side of a low hedge. It read: Charles Ginnever
