"2 Views of Putah Creek", Utility Box Art 2015, Artist: Danielle Fodor, 1st Street And D Street, Davis, California
The box was located at the corner of 1st Street And D Street in downtown Davis, California.
From this point of view, the box was painted to resemble the shore of a creek or a river.
A tree grew alongside the river. The shore of the river appeared to be rocky.
A power meter was visible behind a dirty plastic window. This narrow power box was alongside the utility box. Instead of shore, this
power meter box illustrated fish underwater in the river.
The artist's signature was on the face of the utility box, next to a padlock.
The side of the utility box that faced the street featured a colorful bird flying over the river.
The side of the narrow power box that faced the street showed layers of fish swimming in the river.
A closer view of the top of the power box to illustrate the brush work used to create the art.
