Tank 18 Mural 2017, Artist: Elliott C Nathan, Outside Tank 18 Restaurant, 1345 Howard Street, San Francisco, California
The mural was painted on the side of the Tank 18 Restaurant that faced Dore Alley.
The mural ran below a billboard that read, "Thrive Your Way, Kaiser Permanente."
The artist's signature was on the screen of a round television. It read, "Tank 18, Mural By, Elliott C Nathan."
The mural was a vast collection of icons. For example, there was an eye gazing up, a light bulb of inspiration, a top hat, many stars and hearts, and a natural gas meter.
The wall behind a parked car was covered with a copious collection of fun objects.
A wine bottle, just above an eye and to the right of a radio, showed the date 2017, which was the year the mural was painted.
A bird said, "Be Kind," and a cloud wept happy raindrops.
A roll-up garage door was painted in an identical style, except that it was rendered in black and white.
On the black and white garage door, a banner read, "Have a Good Day," and a circle said, "Oh Wow!"
A horned creature was clearly asleep and dreaming the entire wall.
Four wooden telephone poles blocked the view of the left hand end of the mural.
Notice all the black lines around all the objects. Those lines created the feeling of movement, or of light radiating, or of water falling.
Words on the wall were, "Wanna Hang? I'd love to!!" And "Beep Boop." And "Elliott c nathan --2017--."
A pencil was labeled, "Draw." And an atom was drawn with four electrons.
People walked past the mural, allowing you to better judge its size.
The mural continued around the front of the building, but in black and white on a gray background.
The rightmost end of the mural finished with an, "So Good!" just below windows.
