The Indo Arch 1978, A Steel Sculpture, Artist: Gerald Walburg, 2nd And K Streets, Sacramento, California

The artist, Gerald Walburg, signed his work near the ground. Welded onto the metal was the expression, "© Walburg 78."

The Indo Arch was massive and tall. It formed an arch over the walkway that connected Old Town to Downtown Sacramento.

The top of The Indo Arch formed a curve over the path below. Here you can see how massively heavy the arch must have been.

The massive left foot of The Indo Arch rested on concrete set into a small plot of grass. This foot was the more massive of the two.

The other foot of The Indo Arch was curved on the bottom and appeared to be an unstable support. In actuality, both feet were anchored into concrete.
