Eugene Railroads Mural 2018, Artist: OSLP, Administrator: Sterling Israel, Oregon Assisted Living Program, Lincoln Street & W. 4th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon
Ruiz designed the mural during the group's Summer Term Open Studio classes. Sterling Israel, program coordinator, oversaw the coordination of volunteer artists, collaborated with volunteers and class participants on the design, and did the outline work so volunteers could come by to add color and details. A closer shot showing the mural all at once and in detail. It was drawn under a cloudy night sky.

The smoke stack of the train had a placid face drawn on it. And below the face was a puzzle box, thus far unsolved.

The mural was located in an alcove of a brick building and faced the railroad tracks. It was just off Lincoln Street, on the same side of the tracks as W. 4th Avenue.

The cow catcher in front of the engine resembled an inverted fan, or a hot grill about to roast hot dogs.
