The sign over the entry to the "Wine Garden" which was "Hosted by Gilroy Rotary."
In addition to wine, one double-wide booth offered "Get A Frost Bite" Mimosas.
"Solis Winery," "Medeios Family Wines," and "Fortino Winery," offered wine tasting for the curious, or a glass of wine for the serious.
You couldn't buy wine directly. Instead you had to have your age checked and then you could buy "One glass $9 or 3 Tastes $9" or "3 glasses or 9 tastes for $25."
The booth on the end, "Kirgin Cellars" seldom had customers. Whereas one booth in, "Sunlit Oaks Winery" always had
a crowd present.
Oak barrels used as tables with an umbrella held in the center of each, provided shade to those sipping wine.
The wine garden was set under mature shade trees.
Thin water tubes strung from tree to tree provided mist to help cool off those drinking wine below.
The typical booth (here "Wild Eye Winery") displayed bottles of wine to taste. This particular winery needed to sell
wine to make room for this year's bottling. Bottles were for sale for $12 each.
