The crowd as it looked just before the parade began. Some folks chatted with each other. Other folks looked just plain bored.

After the parade began, some in the crowd became hyper enthusiastic and even held up signs reading, "EJ,"
and "You Are Fabulous," and "We ♥ You."

|
There were moments when folks marching with the parade would interact directly with the crowd on the sidewalk.
