2008, SFZombiemob
Just say no to brains
A tape X meant attack and turn him into a zombie
He wore a modest X on his shirt sleeve
He wore many X's to not be missed
He had a small X, slightly obscured by his jacket
A lone zombie came from behind and attacked
The zombie attacked two at once
The transformation into a zombie began
Pandemonium erupted as the infection spread
The first results of wearing a tape X
He showed the blood dripping from his hand
The man with multiple X's was converted
The attack could be violent enough to rip clothing
One man enjoyed changing into a zombie
Blood was supplied by the bucket-full
Even zombies have time to chat with photographers
Observe how fast infection caused face hair to grow
Smeared with blood but, as yet, unharmed
Note the snarl, a sure sign of infection
And so the early attack produced frightening results
Of course the "ofisal presss" was there
The zombies found a man to worship
Actually the zombies were just posing for the media
And then the main mob of zombies approached
The first victim of the arriving hoard fell
The arriving zombies looked around for victims
His hands were almost hypnotic
He imagined seeing a victim behind the window
A very orange zombie attacked a passing car
She was amused by the terror she inflicted
The lone survivor stubbornly kept filming
Even zombies have political opinions
The united zombies became itchy for more
Ah, the lovely look of dripping blood
Behold the vacuous look of the walking dead
Despite a mask, the zombie was still obvious
A city bus drove past the shuffling zombies
A bloody hand print appeared on a GAP sign
Hat and sunglasses protected her from detection
A zombie tried to eat the microphone
One zombie hit on the girlfriend of another
She cleverly blended in with the uninfected
The mob of zombies encountered a protest
He could almost taste the protesters ahead
One bloody aftermath of an attack was evident
Evidence of an attack on pickup truck passengers
Too weak to walk, he could only crawl
Not all zombies were at peace
Hats off for that poor postal delivery worker
One zombie almost discovered the photographer
Some in the restaurant appeared amused
The zombie mob had turned into a huge mob
She wondered if he had converted yet
He could no longer tell if it was day or night
Even the police could not provide useful information
A protest was taking place on one corner
The Zombie Mob mingled in search of new victims
Music caused the zombies to begin to dance
He felt alone despite so many around him
A few just watched the others dance
Despite her cat disguise, she still became a zombie
The masked man was bloodied but remained unharmed
Sadly the bandage still exposed a bit of brain
A policeman tried to keep the zombies orderly
Some moaned "Brains," but he moaned "Grains"
She was surprised by what lay ahead of her
Some zombies began to tire
Terry and Denver remained hot on the trail
Yes, even a Zombie can have a political opinion
Those on a balcony couldn't understand the zombies
One serious zombie spotted the photographer
The zombie invasion finally arrived in Chinatown
He tried hard to blend in with the other shoppers
At one point they milled about without direction
They walked single-file past other pedestrians
She pointed out that they were very bloody
One zombie may have been running a fever
They found an untouched person wearing a taped X
She was thunderstruck by the passing mob of zombies
One dog was suspicious of the passing undead
She asked if anyone was missing an arm
It happened that afternoon on the church steps
The zombie mob finally reached the downtown area
Cable car riders were put upon by the mob
He mocked them from his bicycle
The shopping area proved too alluring
He had only a moment in which to ponder his future
Some good deals grabbed more attention than the zombies
He rose silently behind her
An afternoon of too many red hands
The zombie mob ambled lazily across Bush Street
In Union Square the two groups mingled and danced
They danced and chanted "Macys ... Macys"
Later they chanted "Shopping ... Sales"
He insisted we understood the deals to be had
The long ordeal finally began to wind to an end
Fresh brain provided a light afternoon snack
The afternoon, he realized, had been fun
A tour bus floated past, parting them like bow waves
They vented fury at those behind masked windows
