Viva Nicaragua, In The 2016 38th Annual San Francisco, Carnaval Parade

A modest banner read simply, "Nicaragua." The contingent was named,
"Viva Nicaragua."

A small drum corps followed the banner and provided the rhythm for dancers.

A man riding on the Viva Nicaragua float drank from a bottle of water.

Masked dancers followed the float. Here, a person dressed as a man, danced
with a fan.

Children rode on the back of a decorated truck. A few of them waved to the crowds
lining the sidewalks.

More masked dancers followed the truck loaded with children. Here, one of the dancers posed

A person dressed as a woman danced next to a person dressed as a man.

Younger kids also rode the truck. The one in the center wore an outrageous
straw hat.

A group of dancers were dressed in top hats, tuxedos and black masks. They danced using
closed black umbrellas as props.
