2011 The Reception
The reception dinner took place on the upper deck of the cruise boat. The tables and chairs
were elegantly decorated.
Each table setting had a napkin that matched the color of the ribbon decorations and the ribbon
around each chair. Set on each napkin was a box containing individually wrapped, hard candies.
Uncle Carlos gazed forward as the boat began its cruise. The boat pulled out of Pier 40 and thereby created
a dramatic view of the Bay Bridge.
Maria (Mother of the Bride) and Alfred had great fun posing for the official wedding photographer.
Normally fun Renee was deep in conversation at her table as dinner drew to a close.
The married couple shared their first dance on the lower deck of the cruise boat.
David and Melinda drove the cruise boat for a brief interval that evening.
David always makes it a point to drive every cruise boat
A life ring
with the words "Just Married" on it,
was used to hide behind so that the
groom could speak to his new bride.
The dance floor, at one point in the evening, played host to a young fellow break dancing.
Those watching were amused.
Jesse (right) was the son of David (left). Jesse and Kaitlyn (right) were wed just three weeks earlier on
June 19th
All the currently unmarried women were lined up to await the tossing of the bridal bouquet.
The catch resulted in much surprise, merriment, and joy.
The evening drew to a close with the men gathered near the open bar. This is not to suggest, however,
that all men drank.
