Fake melons were arranged in a stone basket on a float being readied for use in the 2010 Chinese New Years Parade internal link. Although clearly fake, while in motion and from a distance they might appear more real.

Fake Oranges In A Real Vase

A scene in a closed store featured many drab antique items, such as the bird nests and shirt form. But a few of the smaller items in the store gave this scene a bit of a spark. The oranges in the vase, the beads on the form, and red feathers in the background.

Logically Medusa would starve to death

A large concrete artichoke was the top decoration on a garden gate in Pacific Heights. The fact that it was stone conjured up the image of Medusa staving to death because she might turn all her food into stone.
