While on an outing to photograph the birds of Stow Lake in San Francsico's Golden Gate Park, we stumbled upon this topping for a Christmas tree. It was an angel figurine who was apparently stuck on a randomly embedded stick. It was photographed, left in place and never seen again.

An angel wearing a bridal outfit and tennis shoes appeared to usher people back onto the sidewalk. It almost appeared as if she used her feather fan to blow the people to safety.

A fellow dressed in purple wore a small set of angel wings for the Saint Stupids Day Parade. He was among those wandering the open plaza after the parade ended. Of course they might equally well have been butterfly or fairy wings.
