History, At The Museum Of The Revolution

A photograph of the Western Front during the Revolution as taken on June 20, 1979.
Aracely armored advanced, while behind the armor,
fighters followed ready for the assault on the 21st Command León, Nicaragua.
This photograph was on display behind glass on the outside wall of the prison.

The headless body of Francisco Hernández de Córdoba was found in 1517
by monks in the basement of a church. This famous conquistador had been beheaded,
so the monks presumed he was another monk. This is how the myth of the Headless Monk
began.

Doña Carman Toruno founded the museum and created many of the exhibits found there.
