An exhibit displayed the differences between the Wolf Eel and the Moray Eel.
It even showed how the skulls differed.

An exhibit asked, "What's going on down there? Life picks up below the low tide line. Dense strands of algae carpet the rocks thriving in
sunlit water. Many kind of animals live here, exposed to air by only the lowest low tides...."

A sea anemone was attached to a rock in a tank. The overhead lighting caused the anemone to appear to glow.

A large pink anemone shared a rock with dozens of tiny anemone.

Tow large sea stars appeared to wrestle in another tank. They moved so slowly that the event might take days to resolve.

A pale pink anemone with a deep red base rested on sand next to a green anemone.

A touch tank gave visitors a chance to feel sea anemone and sea stars with their bare hands.

Another tank had glass on both sides and allowed the visitor to observe fish swimming between two walls covered with
seaweed.

The doors in and out of the "Sandy Shores" exhibit. A sign on the inside had called it the, "Intertidal Exhibit."
