Boat Ride, In Pixie Woods A Children's Theme Park
A large ship's anchor marked the way to the Pixie Woods boat dock. Beyond the anchor was the sign for
the, "Pixie Queen II."
The ship named the, "Pixie Queen II," left dock for a tour of the lake. It had a paddle wheel on its
stern, but that paddle wheel was just for show.
A safety notice was attached to a fake totem pole. That sign read:
The Pixie Woods boat dock as seen from the back of the tour boat as the boat pulled away.
A native American village was visible on shore from the boat ride. It featured two tepees and a wooden cutout
of a man wearing a horn headpiece.
The water near the shore was murky with bits of foam floating on the surface.
A large pirate ship was beached on an island in the center of the lake.
Statues of pirates stood and sat on the dock behind the pirate ship. In the background stood a female
pirate.
The island in the middle of the Pixie Woods lake was a volcano with painted lava.
A caveman leaned on a staff while a cavewoman moved silently up behind him and raised a club.
During one turn of the tour boat, the water appeared mostly placid, thereby creating a reflected shore.
A plaster dinosaur appeared from behind the bushes and almost looked as if it might lean out and snatch a passenger from the deck.
Westley smiled with joy as the boat headed back for the dock. This boat ride had been a real treat for him.
