Signs, At Heceta Beach, As An Oregon, Water Place
A sign at the short trail leading to Heceta Beach South warned of rip currents, sneaker waves, and hazardous logs.
It also listed "Prohibited Activities."
Another sign advised that the water was periodically monitored for water safety.
A succinct sign advised visitors that there was, "No Camping."
Someone had written using white ink on a rusted metal barrier. Because this sign was unofficial, it was graffiti.
The name, "Wade," had been written on a chunk of wood partly buried in the sand.
The names, "Joe," and "Kirk," had been carved into the surface of a large log washed up onto the beach.
