Golden abelia (Abelia x grandiflora "Minipan" Golden Anniversary) is a variety of glossy abelia with bright green leaves with yellow edges and white trumpet-shaped blossoms appearing from spring until the end of summer.[from sfgate]

Super Gold Abelia is a dwarf that naturally grows in a dense mound to 3 or so feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide at maturity. That said, it responds very well to shearing so can be kept smaller with minimal pruning. We're not that into the formal look, so prune ours for shaping purposes only one time a year in late winter, before new leaves begin to emerge.[from Wilson Brothers]
