Bus Stops, In Nicaragua

This bus stop found on the road into Granada from Managua, Nicaragua,
had been busted up sometime in the past. Perhaps it was a casualty of the revolution.

Here was a bus stop at the nature station at the top of Mombacho Volcano.
It appeared dark and gray that day because of low clouds forming fog
at that altitude.

Generally, each bus had a driver and a fare taker. The fare taker would
hang out of the back door and shout the destination over and over
while watching for someone to flag down the bus.

A feeble tin roof covered a bare and rusted metal bus stop that was
probably a food stall in the past. Folks watched keenly as a bus approached.

in front of a Pali store.
