Located at the corner of East 8th Avenue and Oak Street in downtown Eugene, Oregon, the utilty box shared a post that was defaced with pen graffiti and stickers. The utility box was painted in a floral design by artist Bryan Putnam.

The narrow edge of the utility box was also decorated with a floral pattern. Across the street was new construction. To the left of the utility box stood a galvanized planter with leaves overflowing the edge.

The street face of the utility box was painted in a continuation of the floral theme. To the left of the utilty box was a metal post with a tiger sticker on it.
