My name is Erol Chandler. I am a middle school science teacher, turned woodworker. I took the long route finding my heart in the woodshop rather than the classroom. I have been building custom furniture for a few years now, and recently fell in love with designing and building lamps. I wake up every morning wanting to create and bring lamps to life. My lamps are not complex, but they are carefully constructed. The wood and parts are sourced locally and I build each one by hand in Eugene, OR. [from kickstarter]
