Many of the folks with the San Francisco Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center wore makeup and costumes. Here was a clown face over an outrageous dress and under an equally outrageous hat.

Here was facepaint overlaid with sparkles.

Here was one of those people marching with Atheists Of San Francisco. On his chest was a scarlet letter and below that the word, "Science."
