When you first enter the park you see a sign that read: "Riverfront Park, City of Salem." To the left of that sign was a smaller one that read:

A dog topped sign pointed in green the direction to the "Playground, Amphitheater, and Eco-Earth Globe." In purple, "Historic Downtown," and "Willamette University." And in blue to the, "State Capitol."

The entry to the carousel was marked by a sign that read, "Salem's Riverfront Carousel." A smaller sign read, "Open for Fun."

A sign had been rendered in chalk on the brick wall of the carousel. It read:

Three of Santa's raindeer were on display, "Vixen," "Blitzen," and "Prancer." Those raindeer were next to the "Donation" box that also said, "Please help Maintain Our Horses."

A carousel horse was rendered in tile on the wall of the room indentified by a sign as the "Men"s room.

A sign over the band (high up on a ledge) read "Salem Riverfront Carousel." This mechanical band actually played the music for the carousel.
