Following the banner, women in full skirts danced opposite a man wearing rags.

As part of the dance, hands were held wide and then all together the women would clap.

All at once, dozens of hands came together for a loud clap.

At one point during the dance, the woman appeared entranced as if in worship.

The next group of dancers carried decorated gourds filled with beans and shaken to produce a rhythmic sound.

A group of women walked ahead of the band and used decorated gourds to add to the band's music.

The members of the drum corps wore straw hats, a few with hat bands that matched their shirts.

Those at the rear of the drum corps beat their drums with more gusto.

The final part of this contingent featured men walking with parasols and women walking between them, carrying fans.

A man wearing white robes and a white cloth hat, carried a white parasol.

A man wearing whiteface carried a red parasol. Note that the color of the threads in his hat almost matched the color of his parasol.

A man dressed in white robes was the final part of this contingent. He carried an inverted parasol made to look like a flower.
