Villa del Arco, Cabo San Lucas
The Villa del Arco hotel wrapped around a large irregular shaped pool with lots of seating surrounding it.
A near full sized pirate ship was constructed inside the seaward end of the pool. Inside the pirate ship was a bar.
Two birds perched on the back of a reclining deck chair supplied by the Villa del Arco hotel.
In the distance was a Princes cruise ship, and just to the other side of the fence was
a local selling wares.
A set of stairs led up from the beach to the swimming pool level of the hotel grounds.
The wooden walkway bridge from the beach stairs to the pirate ship.
A row of chairs and umbrellas lined the fence overlooking the Bay of Cabo San Lucas.
Many people relaxed on deck chairs around the pool. They all appeared oblivious to the presence of a
cruise ship just off shore.
The swimming pool provided a fresh water alternative to the salt water of the sea within a short walking distance.
All the hotel rooms that faced the sea and the pool had decks. Although few people appeared to actually hang
out on their decks.
The main desk of the Villa del Arco hotel. Here a gardener chatted with the man behind the desk.
The Villa del Arco hotel (the one on the right) looked much less scenic when viewed from the highway.

The Villa del Arco hotel as seen from a cruise ship just off shore. Note the stairs leading up from the beach to
the swimming pool level.
