Grazyna Szawlowski (her back to the camera) chatted with Madeleine Lemire (behind the post) on the front porch of the hotel. The entrance was at the very end of the road that lead up from the beach. The beach was a short 10 minute stroll away.

The second floor balcony of the hotel, with its uncomfortable, sharply leaning chairs. The chairs provide a nice look but were not practical. At the far end of the balcony was a spiral staircase to the third floor, and access to the grand staircase down to the yard.

The grand staircase was outdoors and led down from the 2nd floor to the yard/parking lot. The staircase was slippery when it rained.
