The sculpture was set off-center in an alcove opposite the "Icosaspirale" internal link sculpture in the Five Embarcadero internal link privately-owned public park. This sculpture was inspired by the breast bone of a bird.

A plaque in the walkway

The sculpture edge lit

A side view of the sculpture, side-lit by the afternoon sun. That the artist wanted to evoke a feeling of bone was clear in this view. The bronze statue was bolted to a concrete riser.
