A single red tulip grew just beyond a patch of Bugleweed internal link groundcover. A yellow weed grew there too. The color balance in the sunlight bordering shade caused the red flower to appear orange.

The red tulip was one of two plants. The second one, just beyond this red one, gave no indication that it wanted to bloom.
