Diaz spent his time in Eugene turning the wall of Grizzlies Brand's building into a modern riff on an antique zoology book. His Whiteaker Mammoth design was inspired by his visit to the University of Oregon's Museum of Natural and Cultural History. He and his assistant, Angel Lopez, worked through the night using waterproof sumi ink and small brushes to create the massive design.[from 20x21 website]
