These cast bronze cougar sculptures, one male and one female, were commissioned in 1993 and installed at The Plaza in 1995. The title "Cataract," was chosen to reference the cats, also being synonymous with 'cascade' and 'waterfall.' It could also suggest having a little blindness in the beginning of a relationship.
