A sculpture of a man riding a horse was on a lawn across the 59th Street where Paladeau Street hits it. There was no sign or signature on or near the sculpture to identify the artist. |

The horse's head was in two layers about an inch apart. The white layer created the animal, while the rust background
was just there to support the white and contrast with it.

The rider's hands were crossed in front. The right thumb floated as a separate piece.

The back side of the statue was the mirror image of the front side. Neither side had any indication of who the
artist was. Nor was there a plaque or other identifier nearby. This is why we labeled the artist as Unknown.
