The sculpture was an obelisk that rose high in the center of a car-restricted street.

A fellow walking by the base of the sculpture provided a sense of the scale.

A closer view of the top of the obelisk sculpture. Bicycle parts were formed into a four-sided pyramid.

A closer view of the side of the obelisk revealed forks and other parts of children's bicycles.

The side of the sculpture near to the ground appeared the same as it did higher up. The only difference was that one could stand a the base and reach up to touch this lower part. Despite the 90 degree Fahrenheit (32 degree Celsius) day, the metal felt cold.
